...And you're no longer sitting around waiting for something to happen. You're out there, going to the moments.

After a few days, life on the road starts to feel like a dream: sunrise, sunset, and the moments in-between, all finally yours again it seems. Laying on a hot, white beach, watching the giant clouds drift by - it all finally slows down, down, down.

Home is where the heart is. And like a compass, our heart's true north is the sea.

So wake up, tune out, dive in, and feel it like the first time...

Our journey begins in the Island nation of French Polynesia: "De Passage" is the French translation of Just Passing Through.

After our exploration of the tropical wonderland that is Tahiti with our crew of Rob Machado, Alana Blanchard, Shane Dorian, Kai Otton, Nick Rozsa, Cyrus Sutton, Luke Davis, Tia Blanco and Paige Maddison, we set sails and and head west to the enchanted islands of Bali where we find Mikala Jones deep in uncharted territory. From there it's a short trip to the land down under to meet 3x world champion Mick Fanning on his home turf.

Paige Maddison - Model, Actress and Surfer

For as small a world as surfing is, it’s amazing how big a world it can open up. That’s been the case for 23-year-old Reef Ambassado Maddison from Noosa Head, Queensland, Australia.
Surfing is just the starting point for Maddison, a gifted glider with that quintessential timeless Aussie style. For such a young woman, she can easily transition to photography, soccer, fashion design, yoga, and promoting healthy living. Hers is truly a life of “Just Passing Through.”
Maddison was acting in film and television from an early age, making a natural transition to modeling. But surfing has always been at the root. She has the kind of grace that transcends surfing, just as comfortable in Tahiti, the Caribbean, Biarritz, or Malibu as she is in Venice, San Sebastian, Paris, London or Milan.

Surfer Johanne Defay - 5th place Fiji Pro finish is among the top women surfers in the world

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 June, 2014 - Reunion Island surfer Johanne Defay proved that she is right where she belongs, and that is among the top women surfers in the world.
Throughout the event, the announcers commented on her powerful turns that set her apart from other girls in the competition. The judges awarded her for those turns, but in her quarterfinal match-up against Malia Manuel, Defay narrowly missed advancing into the semis. The final score of the Heat 4 Quarterfinal was Manuel with 9.50, and Defay with 8.93.
Defay proved her skills in waves of consequence at the Fiji Pro last week, and finished a strong 5th. Surfing France caught up with Defay in a recent interview, and she discusses her advancements, power surfing strengths, and her mistakes that kept her from moving into the semi-finals.
