Malia Jones

Malia Jones was born on March 27, 1977 in Loma Linda, California. She is a surfer and model with Hawaiian, Spanish-Filipino and German origins. When she was born her father was in a dental school. After two years, when she was two years old, she went with the family to Kailua, Hawaii. She is credited with furthering interest of young girls in the sport of surfing.
In Hawaiian her name means “the state of water when it’s calm.” Destiny couldn’t have played a more colossal joke: The day after she was born, her mother put her on a surfboard.

Christa Alves

Christa Alves started surfing at just 10 years old. Her first surf board was a 6'6" ron jons funshape with a neon orange strip across it. She was a fast learner and started winning events after 2 years of hard practice. She loves the thrill of competing. She has only been surfing competitively for four years but she is already making her mark.
