STEPHANIE Gilmore shot to fame as a 17-year-old schoolgirl in 2005 when she was the youngest surfer to win the Roxy Pro on the Gold Coast.
Then only two years later in her rookie professional year she claimed the women's world title in 2007.
She quickly followed it up with her second world crown in 2008.
Gilmore is destined to be a legend of the sport.
Her smooth style and incredible ambition have combined to see her revolutionise women's surfing.
Some believe she could one day challenge Layne Beachley's record of seven world titles.
